Pastor Phil Young currently serves as the Mature Adult Pastor at Lakes Church in Lakeland Florida. Having served in ministry for 45 years, Pastor Phil holds a Masters of Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As well as serving churches in Florida, Pastor Phil is a native of New York State and has served churches in New England and done mission work in Canada so he brings a unique faith perspective to people of the region. Pastor Phil and his wife Janet have been married 42 years, reside in Lakeland and have 5 married children and 18 grandchildren.
