Day 2 October 24 – Arrive in Athens
You will arrive in Athens, Greece, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 October 25 – Athens & Corinth, Greece
Discover the rich architectural splendor of the ancient city of Athens as you explore the world-renowned Acropolis, the Propylaea, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheum. Stand on Mars Hill as the Apostle Paul did when he proclaimed, "I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.” Travel to the city of Corinth, where the Apostle Paul met fellow tentmakers Aquila and Priscilla and received a vision from the Lord saying, "I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.” As Paul spoke, Crispus (chief ruler of the synagogue) and many others believed and were baptized, establishing the church at Corinth to whom Paul later wrote his two epistles. Discover the archaeological museum, marketplace, and temples. As you walk among the ruins, stand on the Bema, where the Apostle Paul stood before Gallio to face charges brought against him by the Jews. Board the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship in the afternoon.

Day 5 October 27 – Mykonos, Greece
Arrive today at the world-famous Greek island of Mykonos, where gleaming whitewashed buildings seem to climb atop each other to reach the azure sky. Admire its many hills dotted with iconic windmills. Explore the island on your own or join one of the optional excursions available for purchase on board.
Shore excursions are not included today and can be purchased directly from Celebrity.
Day 6 October 28 – Rhodes, Greece
Get the real, authentic Rhodes experience by exploring it on foot. Your walking tour will begin in picturesque Old Town, where you will pass through and learn all about Agora and Collachium, where the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem lived and worked. Marvel at the stunning churches, exquisite Jewish quarter, the Inns of the Knights, and the Palace of the Grand Masters. You will then tour the palace interior and walk down the Street of the Knights, its path paved with impressive marble and mosaics. Exploring Rhodes on foot will inevitably leave a lasting impression on you.
Day 7 October 29 – Santorini, Greece
Dock in Santorini today, one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands, where picturesque, whitewashed villages topped with brilliant blue domes stand in stark contrast to the sheer-drop cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. The island perches on the edges of a volcano whose eruption 3,500 years ago is thought to have led to the collapse of the Minoan civilization. Explore the island on your own or join one of the optional excursions available for purchase on board.
Shore excursions are not included today and can be purchased directly from Celebrity.
Day 8 October 30 – Chania, Crete
Like many ports in this part of the world, archaeological ruins dating back to antiquity are found everywhere. There are also hundreds of gorges around the island and over 1,500 land and sea caves, including Elephant Cave, noted for its remarkable white and red stalactites. Over the millennia, this harbor city was conquered many times over by the Romans, the Byzantines, the Venetians, and the Turks. Chania remains crisscrossed with Ottoman architecture and historic Venetian mansions, many of which have been transformed into quaint shops, inviting cafes, and boutique hotels. Shore excursions are not included today and can be purchased directly from Celebrity.
Day 9 October 31 – At Sea
Embark on a narrated tour of Valletta, the capital of Malta, and a city replete with medieval charm and extravagantly grand architecture. No exploration would be complete without a visit to Valletta’s crowning jewel, St. John’s Co-Cathedral. This baroque masterpiece was commissioned in 1572 by Grand Master Jean de la Cassiere for the Knights of St. John. In fact, several Knights donated gifts of art to ensure it was adorned with only the finest works. Continue to Casa Rocca Piccola, a historic home offering a unique glimpse into the lives of Maltese nobility over the past 400 years. Enjoy a little free time to explore the area before heading to the imposing Mediterranean Conference Center. Set overlooking the Grand Harbour, it was originally built as a hospital for the Order of St. John of Jerusalem and was considered one of the finest in Europe during the 1600s.
Day 10 November 2 – Messina, Italy
Discover the tranquil beauty of the Sicilian coast, its charming resort atmosphere, and the breathtaking village of Taormina, perched on a mountainside. Enjoy a spectacular scenic drive along the east coast of Sicily. Then, journey into Taormina’s ancient squares. Stroll past the boutiques located along the Corso Umberto. Taormina was built in the 3rd century BC and overlooks the sea. Uncover its medieval character as you join your guide for a walk to Palazzo Corvaja, a 15th-century building adorned with lovely double windows. Next, visit the spectacular Greek Theater, built in the 3rd century BC and renowned for its acoustics. Weather permitting, marvel at incredible views of Mount Etna. After your guided adventure, you’ll have free time to browse the local shops, cafés, palaces, squares, side alleys, and churches.
Day 11 November 3 – Salerno, Italy
Journey inland to ancient Pompeii, dating almost to the time of Paul, where you can see the spectacular ruins that were covered by ash from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Day 12 November 4 – Rome, Italy
History is woven through the streets and neighborhoods of Rome as nowhere else. Today, you’ll explore the many wonders of ancient Rome when you visit the magnificent Colosseum and the Pantheon. From the most sacred hill of ancient Rome, the Campidoglio, you will have a view of the Forum. You will also view the Circus Maximus, the Arch of Titus, the famous Baths of Caracalla, and the Arch of Constantine. You will see the Victor Emanuel Monument and the Monti Region, Rome’s most ancient neighborhood, which spreads over three of its seven hills. Also, near the Forum is the Mamertine Prison. It was the site where Romans kept their high-profile prisoners until they died or were executed. It is revered as the place Peter was held before his crucifixion. Visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, home to the Tomb of St. Paul the Apostle, affectionately known as the Apostle to the Gentiles.
