Daily Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Monday

Arrive in Philadelphia. Start your tour of the museum at Historic St. George’s UMC. Afterwards, enjoy a walking tour of Methodism in Philadelphia. Check into your hotel and enjoy your evening on your own. (No meals included today).

Day 2 Day 2: Tuesday

Experience a walking tour of Philadelphia, including stops at Mother Bethel AME, Mother Zoar, and other historic sites. Afterwards, enjoy free time in the City of Brotherly Love! (Breakfast included).

Day 3 Day 3: Wednesday

Check out of your hotel this morning and drive to Baltimore. Visit Lovely Lane UMC to discuss the history of American Methodism in Baltimore. Then, enjoy a walking tour of the historic town. The Baltimore area has more United Methodist sites than anywhere else in the US. Afterwards, check into your hotel and enjoy an evening on your own. (Breakfast included)

Day 4 Day 4: Thursday

In the morning, gather and walk to Old Otterbein UMC to learn about the Evangelical United Brethern roots of United Methodism. Afterwards, tour more sites nearby before heading to our nation’s capital. Enjoy free time and nightlife in D.C. (Breakfast included)

Day 5 Day 5: Friday

Visit the United Methodist Building this morning – the only non-governmental building on Capitol Hill. Learn from the general agencies before doing a tour of Methodism in D.C. Tonight, we will have a group dinner to reflect on all that we learned before saying our goodbyes! (Breakfast included)

Day 6 Day 6: Saturday

Fly home from D.C.

NOTE: Group could fly home from Philadelphia with an afternoon flight if that is preferred.
