Cancel For Any Reason

What is "Cancel For Any Reason"?
"Cancel For Any Reason" allows those who have paid for the EO Travel Protection Plan to cancel their EO travel arrangements up to the day of departure for any reason (excludes no-shows and those who are not permitted to board the plane).
How Does it Work?
With the exception of your non-refundable airline ticket, EO will refund the portion of your land journey
which the EO Travel Protection Plan (or other Travel Protection Plan) does not cover.
The refund will be in the form of an Educational Opportunities Tours travel certificate.
Remember - About the Voucher:
- You are not getting cash back, you are getting a voucher to travel with EO in the future
- Your voucher can be used within 12 months of its issue date
- The amount of your Travel Voucher is reduced if you receive a settlement from the EO Travel Protection Program. When submitting your claim, Trip Mate fist determines if your cancelation is for an insurable reason. The EO Travel Protection Plan (via Trip Mate) will/may pay all or part of your costs and the "Cancel for Any Reason" Voucher will cover any remaining amount up to the cost of your trip (minus non-refundable fees such as airline penalties).
Remember - About Airline Tickets:
- If an airline ticket has already been written for you at the time you decide to cancel, the airline penalties will apply
- Each airline has different rules and we will try to work out the best solution for you.
- The bottom line is, the ticket is written in stone and the airline will charge for any change you make to your ticket
Remember - About the "Cancel for Any Reason" program:
- It is only available on EO select land programs
- It is not available on EO Leisure and Charter cruises nor on specific land programs
- Covers non-insurable claims, excluding non-refundable items such as airline tickets
