  1. Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

    The tour commences upon arrival at the Anchorage International Airport. A motorcoach transfer is provided from the airport to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight hotel accommodations are included in Anchorage.

  2. Day 2 - MCKINLEY EXPLORER® RAIL TO DENALI NATIONAL PARK

    Transfer to Rail Station and board a McKinley Explorer dome rail car to Denali National Park. A bus transfer is provided to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in Denali Park. Overnight accommodations are included at the Denali Gateway Lodge.

  3. Day 3 - DENALI

    Enjoy Denali Park with a 6 to 7 hour Tundra Wilderness tour by bus with a snack lunch. The tour is narrated by a driver-guide. The tour travels to mile 53 of the park road and offers opportunities to view wildlife which may include caribou, Dall sheep, moose, bear and wolves. A viewpoint offers a possible view of Mt. McKinley (weather-permitting). Tour departure times vary. Tonight take in the optional dinner theatre and sit down to a festive barbecue featuring Alaskan specialties. Overnight for a second night near Denali Park.

  4. Day 4 - MCKINLEY EXPLORER® RAIL TO FAIRBANKS

    Board a McKinley Explorer dome car and indulge all of your senses on a magical rail journey through untouched wilderness to Fairbanks. Optional lunch and dinner are available in the dining room aboard your McKinley Explorer rail car. Arrive in Fairbanks about 8:15 PM. Transfer to your hotel where overnight accommodations are included.

  5. Day 5 - FAIRBANKS SIGHTSEEING

    Depart from your hotel and transfer to the riverboat landing. Board the stern wheel riverboat “Discovery III” for a cruise along the Chena and Tanana rivers. Your narrator entertains with tales of life in Alaska. Stop at a replicated Athabascan native village and view native crafts, a fishwheel and a dogsled demonstration. Then board a motorcoach and tour to the gold camp at historic Gold Dredge No. 8. Lunch is included at the gold camp dining hall. Tour the gold camp viewing gold mining exhibits, walk aboard the gold dredge and pan for gold. Return to your hotel. Overnight accommodations are included for a second night in Fairbanks.

  6. Day 6 - FLY TO ANCHORAGE, MOTOR COACH TO SEWARD, EMBARK YOUR CRUISE

    Depart your hotel and transfer to airport. Fly from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Mountains, rivers and wildlife habitat pass by your motor coach window. Say "good-bye" to your Tour Director and check in aboard the ms Ryndam, have lunch aboard the ship, spend the afternoon in Seward, then sail this evening.

  7. Day 7 - CRUISE COLLEGE FJORD

    Your ship cruises College Fjord 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM. Only one place in Alaska surrounds you on three sides with flowing rivers of ice. Imagine cruising past one dramatic tidewater glacier after another - an awesome assemblage of Ice Age wonders named after the nation's leading Ivy League colleges.   8. Day 8 - GLACIER BAY SCENIC CRUISING

    The ms Ryndam cruises Glacier Bay from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. As Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Glacier Bay National Park; protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. How does it feel when a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and crashes into the sea? The sound is like thunder. The impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. You hold your breath as you catch the moment on film. Then you wait for it all to happen again. And it does. Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world.

  9. Day 9 - HAINES/SKAGWAY PORT OF CALL

    The ms Ryndam will dock in Haines from 6:30 AM until 9:00 PM. Nestled on the shores of America's longest fjord, Haines is in a spectacular setting. Fill your day with a float trip through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve which protects the habitat of the nation's avian symbol, or visit the Sheldon Museum, art galleries and local hops in town. Optional highspeed catamaran access for shopping and excursions in Skagway will also be available.

  10. Day 10 - JUNEAU OF CALL

    The ms Ryndam visits Juneau, Alaska’s state capital, from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Interesting sights of the historic downtown area, the state capital campus, the Alaska State Museum, Mendenhall Glacier and the Mt. Robers tram are optional. Other optional shore excursions are available.

  11. Day 11 - KETCHIKAN PORT OF CALL

    The ms Ryndam visits Ketchikan from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Optional shore excursions are available. Interesting sights include collections of totem poles at Totem Bight State Park and the Totem Heritage Center, Creek Street and the shops of the downtown area.

  12. Day 12 - INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISING

    Cruise the Inside Passage route with views of the forested slopes and snow-capped peaks of the Coastal mountains. The ship’s daily program outlines a wide variety of shipboard activities.

  13. Day 13 - HOMEWARD BOUND, TRANSFER TO THE VANCOUVER AIRPORT

    Breakfast is included aboard ship. Arrive at the Canada Place cruise ship terminal in Vancouver, B.C., Canada at 7:00 AM. The tour ends upon arrival.
