  1. Day 1 - DEPART USA

    Your adventure begins with overnight flights to China.

  2. Day 2 - ARRIVE BEIJING

    Arrive in China’s capital and transfer to your first class hotel. Meals are on your own today.

  3. Day 3 - BEIJING

    Morning city tour to the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Lunch is on your own. The evening is reserved for your special Peking Duck Dinner. (B, D)

  4. Day 4 - BEIJING

    This morning you will depart for an excursion to the Great Wall, where lunch will be served after the tour. On your way back you will be visiting a jade factory. The balance of the afternoon is free and dinner is on your own. (B, L) Optional Beijing Opera in the evening $20.

  5. Day 5 - BEIJING

    Today we head to the old Hutong District of Beijing where you will enjoy a rickshaw-ride which will take you to visit a local Chinese family who will cook and share their lunch with you. After that you will visit the Silk Market. The rest of the day is at leisure and dinner is on your own. (B, L) Optional Summer Palace Tour with Beijing Opera Dinner Show $62.

  6. Day 6 - BEIJING-YICHANG EMBARK

    Fly to Yichang in the morning. Here you spend the day and have lunch and dinner at local restaurants before embarking on your deluxe “floating hotel” for check-in and overnight. (B, L, D)

  7. Day 7 - THREE GORGES DAM

    After breakfast, enjoy your excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. Upon returning to the ship, set sail as you pass through the gigantic locks on your way through the first of the three large Gorges - the Xiling Gorge. (B, L, D)

  8. Day 8 - SHENNONG STREAM/DANING RIVER

    Pass through the Wu Gorge and enjoy a special treat: embark on small motorized sampans for an excursion along either the the Shennong Stream or Daning River, both tributaries of the Yangtze. There you will have the opportunity to view unique flora and fauna, the 1000 year old “hanging coffins” of the ancient Ba people and also stop and visit local villages. In the afternoon continue sailing through the Qutang Gorge and enjoy our special Crew Revue after dinner! (B, L, D)

  9. Day 9 - CRUISE: SHIBAOZHAI/FENGDU

    Today make a stop at either Shibaozhai or Fengdu, both typical Yangtze riverside towns where your tour will highlight all of the local attractions. Then, as you sail on, prepare for our Captain’s Farewell Dinner followed by a Karaoke party. (B, L, D)

  10. Day 10 - CHONGQING-XIAN DISEMBARK

    Arrive in Chongqing, where you disembark, and your China adventure continues by land. Stop at the Panda Exhibit and visit the “Great Hall” of Chinese paintings before flying to Xian. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Dinner is on your own tonight. (B, L)

  11. Day 11 - XIAN

    This exciting day will begin with a tour of the magnificent History Museum, where the 8000 Terra-Cotta Warriors of the emperor Qin have been buried for over 2000 years! You will have lunch at the museum and afterwards visit a lacquer ware factory. The evening is reserved for a fabulous Tang Dynasty dinner and show. (B, L, D)

  12. Day 12 - XIAN-GUILIN

    Fly to Guilin in the morning, where upon arrival you will visit Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk before checking into your first class hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

  13. Day 13 - GUILIN

    Today you will sail down the magnificent Li River. On your way back to Guilin, visit a pearl workshop prior to enjoying dinner with a show at the Minority Performance Theater. (B, L, D)

  14. Day 14 - GUILIN-GUANGZHOU

    After breakfast, board your morning flight to China’s “window to the west” Guangzhou. On arrival, enjoy a half day tour of this bustling city that includes a visit to the memorial complex of Dr. Sun-Yat- sen, known as the Father of China. End the day with a special dim sum dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

  15. Day 15 - GUANGZHOU–HONG KONG

    After breakfast, transfer to the port from where you take a hydrofoil to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your first class hotel. (B)

    Your morning city tour brings you to the Stanley Market, Floating Village and up to Victoria’s Peak for stunning scenic views. The afternoon is free of any activities for shopping for souvenirs or exploring the city some more on your own! (B)

  17. Day 17 - RETURN TO USA

    Pack your memories away as you fly back home. (B)
