  1. Day 1 - Depart from USA

    Today we board our international flight for Ireland. Our meals will be served in flight.

  2. Day 2 - Clones, Armaugh, Belfast

    This morning we arrive at Shannon Airport, where our guide and driver will meet us. Once our luggage is on the bus, we will be on our way through the beautiful countryside of Ireland to Clones, where a splendid high cross displays Old and New Testament stories near an ancient 9th century round tower. Stop in the town of Armaugh, that St. Patrick declared the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland.
    See the two cathedrals dedicated to him here, the Church of Ireland’s dating back to the Fifth Century AD. Continue on to Belfast for dinner and overnight. (No Mass today)

  3. Day 3 - Belfast Cathedral, Albert’s Memorial Clock, City Tour

    Today we explore the sights and streets of Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. Celebrate Mass in the Belfast Cathedral. See also St. Malachy’s Church and St. Mary’s Church, the other two prominent Catholic churches in Belfast. Take in the Albert Memorial Clock Tower, built by Queen Victoria in memory of her beloved husband. Also see the City Hall, Opera House and the Crown Bar, that touts itself “the most beautiful bar in the world”. (Overnight Belfast)

  4. Day 4 - Downpatrick, Castle Espie, Ards Peninsula

    Journey south to Downpatrick. Enjoy Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral here, where St. Patrick is reputedly buried here, as well as Sts. Briget and Columba. Wander the Castle Espie Wildlife and Waterfowl Sanctuary. Take the ferry from Strangford to Portaferry. Enjoy the views from the Ards peninsula on your way back to Belfast. (Overnight Belfast)

  5. Day 5 - Antrium Coast, Giant’s Causeway, Derry Region, Letterkenny

    Celebrate Mass this morning with a local congregation, before we depart Belfast. We will journey north along the Antrium Coast to the Giant’s Causeway. Enjoy the view as we pass through the Derry region to Letterkenny, where we will check in for dinner and overnight.

  6. Day 6 - Derry (Londonderry), St. Columb’s Cathedral, Inishowen Peninsula

    Explore Derry, the oldest city in Northern Ireland today. Celebrate Mass at St.
    Columb’s Cathedral. Visit such sites as the “Free Derry” corner and “the Bogside”. Enjoy a journey through the lands of Mac Louchlain on the Inishowen Peninsula, home to castles that once held the High Kings of Ireland. (Overnight

  7. Day 7 - Donegal, Arranmore Island

    Begin your morning with Mass in the main church in Donegal. This town was once the home to Vikings and later given to the English captain Basil Brooke.
    From here we cross by ferry to Arranmore, once part of the lands of the O’Donnells. Absorb spectacular views of the Atlantic and back towards the mainland. See St. Crone’s Catholic Church and the Lighthouse, used by locals and tourists alike as a focal point when walking the island. (Overnight Letterkenny)

  8. Day 8 - Sligo, Knock

    We begin our journey to Knock with a stop at Sligo, where the walls of the Dominican Abbey stand testament to the battles fought over religion on this Isle.
    We will travel to Knock, where in 1879, it was claimed that the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist were seen at the gate of the parish church at
    Knock. Ever since, millions have visited the town as a place of pilgrimage.
    Celebrate Mass at Knock, where we will spend the balance of the day enjoying a time of peace, prayer and contemplation. (Overnight Knock)

  9. Day 9 - Knock, Galway, Lough Cruise

    We will celebrate Mass here at Knock before we travel south. Tour the city of Galway and enjoy a cruise on Lough Corrib. Finish the day with a hearty meal and overnight at Ennis.

  10. Day 10 - Return to USA

    Return to the United States with the beauty and wonder of Ireland forever in your heart.
